Three images of New Mexico State University at Alamogordo,
and one of The Imax Theater (on left of top-right image) and the International
Space Hall of Fame (on right), with a real Saturn Rocket display in between
them), all nestled in the arms of The Rocky Mountains. Some folks get a big
challenge out of jogging or hiking up and down the road going up to the Space
Hall of Fame. And of course, the mountain hikes are very nice; we usually start
our hikes just behind the Space Hall of Fame. Top-left image was taken across
the street from our home with NMSU-A's big live performance theater in the foreground.
NMSU-A has among its curricula a great nursing school.

The very large Indian Wells Family Medical clinic
is just behind out backyard. Left image is taken from the northwest corner of
our fence. Top-right image shows our home in the background to the left. Clearly,
this clinic is just a few steps from our front door.

Additional medical clinics within a couple of blocks
of our home. Top-left is the Women's Specialty Services. Bottom-left is New
Mexico Sonographics, Inc. Top-right is Indian Wells Family Practice, LLC. Bottom-right
are two images of the very large Alamogordo Medical Plaza, which will house
the Southern New Mexico Surgery Center and the Alamogordo Orthopaedics &
Sports Medicine clinics.

Premier Fitness & Health Spa across the street
from The Indian Wells Family Medical clinic. Bottom-right is a picture of a
creosote plant that flourishes across the street from our home. Some folks believe
that creosote tea made from the leaves of creosote plants is purported to be
an ancient natural cure for cancer and other ailments (we are not medical professionals
and can't and don't make medical claims or advice).

Additional dental/medical organizations. Top-left
is the Family Dentistry office. Top-right is Dr. Robert E. White, DDSPC, General
Dentistry office. Bottom-left is the Alamogordo Home Care and Hospice. Bottom-right
is the State of New Mexico Division of Vocational Rehabilitation offices.

Top-left is a southward view down our street, Crescent
Dr., taken from the sidewalk in front of our home (Crescent Dr. currently T's
into Indian Wells, so it does not extend north past Indian Wells). Notice the
mountain part on the left. It is known as the "Apache Maiden." Legend
has it that her tribe was chased up into the mountain where they fought bravely
against their pursuers and attackers (some say by U.S. Cavalry, others say by
another Indian tribe). During this struggle, she was killed. When she fell down
backwards, she turned into stone and became a part of the mountain. Her long
flowing hair, head and face are at the very top. Her breast is just left of
the tip of the pine tree, and her belly, legs and feet lie below that. Bottom-left
image is a shot down Indian Wells westward from about a block east of our home.
The thin white line you see along the bottom of the distant mountain is part
of White Sands National Monument. The right image is taken from the northeast
corner of our property eastward, and it shows that the Rocky Mountains is just
a few blocks down the street from us. Just to the left (not shown) is the International
Space Hall of Fame, The Imax Theater, and New Mexico State University, Alamogordo,
as shown in the top images.

These images are of the vast new and ever-expanding
Gerald Champion Regional Medical Center facilities, located near NMSU-A, and
about a mile from our home. The top 3 images are a panoramic view of the main
hospital complex. The remaining 3 images are other buildings located in this
complex. Some believe that Alamogordo is destined to become one of the major
medical centers for the American Southwest.

AView of the famed International Space Hall of Fame
and Imax Theater (Planetarium) complex. Top images are views of the building
and some of the outdoor displays (the museum is crammed-packed inside with many
exciting space exhibits). Bottom left image is the platform that groups provide
free live performances during the Spring, Summer and Fall seasons, and also
shows an excellent view of the "Apache Maiden" (see above), and some
of Alamogordo in the distance. The bottom right images show additional panoramic
views of Alamogordo, with the Imax Theater in the middle right image on right
side, and the back of some of NMSU-A is shown in the bottom right image.
